I like the idea of just sailing around on a boat, digging up treasure and selling trade at ports, so not really know any games that might be able to scratch that itch the way SoT does, I picked the game up recently.
That said, I don't really have a friend group who'd be interested in regular play, I don't feel comfortable with rando's and I'm not all that interested in PvP assuming i'd even be any good at it
So, this leaves me trying to play the pacifist on a dinky little sloop. Which is cool, since I generally understand what I was getting into and that the game is aimed at being a PvEvP type of affair and the only real consequences for dying amounts to lost time, which is fine for someone who has a lot of time to spare like myself.
But, I figured I figured it'd still be wise to seek the wisdom of my elders:
What would you say are some good tips for a noob trying to fly solo and minimize PvP?
The obvious one to me is trust no one.
