Long story but I’ll hit the high points. Was doing emissary missions as a two person crew on a sloop and was heading to turn in a haul of treasure chests when we see a brig. Try to skirt around them and they open fire to which we say all right face the wind and out run them. They follow us halfway across the map when we pass another sloop on an island. We figure oh good they can have at them. To which the brig engages that sloop. We sail on our merry way. Out of site we redirect towards an outpost further away to turn in when megalodon music starts up. Kill the meg and look up to a sloop….being manned by three people. Needless to say we lost. Messaging them revealed it was the crew from the brig and they’d stolen the sloop for the sole purpose of chasing us down and well it worked. Hats off….and damn you.
