Quite simply, me and a bud were doing a grade 5 gold hoarder chest run last night, we were on our last chest when another grade 5 gold hoarder runs up doing the same thing. We chat for a second before I sneak off onto there ship to see what they have, turns out they were on there last island as well.

My bud brings the ship around, we sink them fast, kill one and lose sight of the other. About 5 minutes into the voyage back to a outpost my bud asks "hey, did you get a parrot named barry?" I reply "no" and ask him to search the ship. Turns out our enemy was tucking behind the map, and we would've never found him if his bird didn't give him away.

Pro tip: If you go to my crew there's a pet management section and you can dismiss your pet, if you didn't know.

Tl;DR: Dont tuck on ships if your pets out.
