Yeah, that was my argument. Like, I know I will not get banned for it, but idk. I actually just messed around on pirate island with sniper and I am clearly faster and a better shot with it on the monitor.
I almost went cross eyed looking at this thing when I turned it on
lamp cheating? Not familiar with that one.
I think that's how I convinced myself people don't do it. I've never noticed it while watching streamers.
Oh, wow. She told me there was another game where a dev said it's okay. I think Rust? Which I found surprising bc I know the players there are pretty hardcore.
Exactly! That's actually the term I used. And then she said it's not even a sport lol
lol sorry I feel like an idiot and i keep getting downvoted so i guess i should have known
haha yeah I agree. nothing you mentioned feels like cheating. But I've never been a running back so idk
I can see why someone would disagree, but no sure if it's bad faith. If you feel that it makes someone a cheater it'd also make them a bad sport? Or are you saying that being a bad sport is more like being a sore loser?
hahaa reminds me of when I'd play Duck Hunt with the gun on the screen! Lol forgive me I am 40.
Really? But doesn't the cannon not line up with crosshair?
So we actually both play on PC, but I can see how it'd be the same advantage on a controller.
Yes, I was thinking the ones that come on the monitor. TBH I didn't know mine does until last night.
Yeah, but isn't there a way to detect those things? I thought that's why people use the monitor? I gotta admit, it feels like cheating to me, but that's probably because I had no idea.
I would think the monitor overlay would appear on the stream, no? Not something physically on screen. But I could be wrong.
That's what I was thinking when I had hardware advantage in mind. Not a damn dot on the screen!
