Saling for adventure and worrying for drops

I've packed me bags and set sail for adventure (backpacking). Now I still follow the news of the seas and watch other pirates in the twitch, certainly when there is loot for the grabs (twitch drops). Now I can only claim me loot trough the twitch drop itself and not check I've have it in the seas ( the game itself). Will everything of me treasure be there when I enter me tavern at home again. (log in and play the game on pc) or can it be me treasure will be lost due to not sailing the familiar seas?
