Seagate 8tb won’t show up in my Xbox

I plug it in and it turns on but once I’m in the storage management on the Xbox it doesn’t want to show up, but my 2tb shows up no issue. I even plugged my 2tb into the 8tb and the 2tb shows up still. I connected it to my computer and downloaded the thing seagate tells you to and for whatever reason I was having issues with that as well. Any one know how to fix this? My friend gave it to me cause he was having the same issues and thought I could get it working.
