Low income/free vet services
Post Body

My husband and I took in a roughly 5 week old feral kitten from an abandoned litter born out in the boonies at my friend's parents'. She was the runt and nearly emaciated when we got her, but she's gaining weight and is very lively. However, she's having runny poops (worms, I'm guessing? Just about all kittens manage to get them, it seems like) and she really needs to go to the vet to be checked out, plus I want to get her spayed and vaccinated. What are some good options for vet care that is really, really low cost (preferably free)? I have zero income right now and qualify for just about every kind of aid imaginable for humans, so I was wondering if there were any for animals?
