I am currently writing my first feature length script. It’s been an idea I’ve developed over time after scratching a bunch of other scripts out the window. I’m only about 30 pages in and I am enjoying the process but I am curious if writing it is worth it. The problem with it is that I’m 19 and I think this is the best time for me to go out and shoot realistic projects. The script I am writing right now is definitely not something I could shoot and I feel like it would be most beneficial to my time to be writing short scripts or at least a script that I can actually shoot. I wanted to gain some insight as to what I should do because I want to be making films as soon as I can.
