I have been working on a TV series for about 2 years now, I need some assistance now on where/how to network with the right people. It occurs in Victorian England and is based on factual history... sex, drugs, violence, politics, poverty, gambling, corruption.. Iā€™ve heavily researched and it has amazing depth and opportunity for many strong supporting characters and storylines.

I know that I have the right ā€œbonesā€ but have so many choices for the ā€œfillerā€œ that Iā€™m a bit overwhelmed. I know nothing about target audiences but would like the filler to attract or excite viewers that arenā€™t interested in the rich history.

Iā€™m not a writer by profession. I happened across this page of history and was immediately taken by the story. Iā€™ve read endless hours about it and the story is so good it tells itself. I have hundreds of pages written about the storyline and a few different versions of 1 page summations of the series but have no idea where to go from here. Nearly everyone Iā€™ve told the story to gets quite interested and is stunned thereā€™s no documentaries and few books about it. Do I need to find a writing partner? An agent? A producer?

TLDR; Where/who do I go to now, I have a series outline and individual episode ideas about a Victorian England drama
