Advice on writing a short screenplay

Post Body

Hey all,

I am new to this sub, so I'll quickly welcome myself. I am a young filmmaker from NYC. I was a '17-'18 Time Warner Screenwriting Fellow. During the fellowship, I partially developed a feature script, which I am still working on to this day, due to some health compactions, which have since resolved.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand. I am looking for any and all advice on writing short screenplays. I've read numerous articles and many books on screenwriting. As many of you know, these books are tailored towards writing feature screenplays. Does anyone know of any good books that cover writing shorts? Beyond that, does anyone here have any good advice?

Best, MJC
