Bear with me - this may/may not work.

To put it simply - the idea is this: Attached is the start of a screenplay. I have no idea where it will go and that choice is up to whomever decides to continue on the story.

Rules:

  1. The first person to read my opening and wishing to write the next scene should post a comment saying 'scene 2 taken' they then have 24 hours to write the next scene.
  2. Once they have the scene ready to post, they post it here for others to read. Labelling it 'Scene 2'.
  3. Anyone wishing to pick up the story and write the next scene should post a comment as quickly as possible saying 'scene 3 taken' and so on... Anyone who wishes to pick up a scene but isn't quick enough may have to wait until the next scene is posted to jump in.
  4. Each scene should be a minimum of 2 pages and a maximum of 5.
  5. It's up to you how a scene plays out, characters you introduce etc. but please try and continue on from what has already been crafted. My suggestion would be to try and avoid introducing too many other characters but keep the 2 main characters already in the opening scene and move them through the story as you wish.

As I say, this may/may not work and if it doesn't that is fine. I thought it could just be really fun to see what journey these characters go on and how the story develops in the hands of others.

It could get confusing if someone is seeing this post for the first time and we are already on, say, scene 23. That would be a lot for someone to read/catch up on but let's just see how it plays out for now. Perhaps a cap of, say, 10 scenes is the maximum to tell the whole story.

Okay... opening scene posted below. I'm into Tarantino movies recently and see this as some sort of Tarantino-esque thing but... there's no actual specification here just go with what you think works.

Let's have some fun.
