I’ve seen people on this sub and other places online say they only write out a few solid beats for the story and then they just to writing with no fully detailed outline or anything.
I’ve found that when I approach like that, I’m extra critical and second-guess-y with my work, and end up procrastinating or ruminating on what I’m gonna write next even more.
For people who do it, is the structure of movies so ingrained in you that you can do that? Are you that confident in your writing? How do you approach it and do it?
