Can I use the Solomon Kane IP?

I'm very interested in tackling a Solomon Kane story, specifically a miniseries, and I was wondering about the legal ramifications of using this IP?
I know that I a movie was made in the early 2000s. It would be an original tale based on characters from Robert E. Howard's work.
