I know, superhero movies are everywhere at the moment - the whole thing is saturated. Marvel, DC etc.
My idea is to take it back to basics a little, I'm thinking of the early Spider-man cartoon, the Batman animated series or X-men cartoons...
I guess my idea is to write short 20-30 minute type screenplays and then find someone to animate the stories. The stories would then go onto YouTube exclusively. The idea would be to build up an audience. Maybe upload a new story once a month.
I feel modern superhero movies are all about the SFX and that's fun but I'd like to write something that focuses more on the human side of things, the heart, the troubles, the difficulties of duality (a normal life and a superhero life).
I'd also like it to have a real inclusive tone - LGBT , ethnicity etc.
Anyway, I'm rambling on...
I've written screenplays before, I'm only an amateur so would love to collab with someone on the ideas, the screenplays and have fun with it all.
If there's any interest then please respond and we can chat more.
