Theory about Dewey in Hospital Scene.

I'm guessing the killer is egging him on to save someone and that he has to empty his gun so he can do it. I like the idea that whoever he's saving turns out to be a killer in the reveal later. It would be much more heartbreaking if Dewey ends up dying trying to save someone who's a killer.
(Mind you Dewey is my favorite character, so I really really hope he lives)
