Someone on Twitter asked a very good question about Sidney Prescott. Has she always been socially reserved/introverted, or was that a result of her mother’s death?

I like to think she’s always been that way because it came off so natural, but given who her friends were, you can make the argument that she probably was more outgoing.

That would definitely work as far as doing a fresh take on the character for her next entry in the franchise. Showing the audience glimpses of the old, pre-traumatized Sidney. I see her being single still. Maybe a couple years removed from a relationship, but definitely not a mother. I can’t see Sidney having kids.

But it would be nice to see a relatively happy version of Sidney Prescott, who settles back into her old self a little before all the chaos starts back up.
