First off, when I say I'm an "American sports fan" I obviously mean I'm from America, not just a fan of American sports.
I'm a huge fan of sports and have been into football since I was little. I tried getting into various European competitions and watch various leagues, like Ligue 1, Serie A, the Premier League and English Championship, and when tuning into Scottish football I've noticed the Rangers club seem to get penalties every game, sometimes a couple. It's higher than any club I've seen in any other competition. As a foreign fan it actually makes Scottish football a bit unbearable and unwatchable, especially when I've seen so many of them come from dives. Is this normal for them? Do other clubs in the Scottish league get this treatment? Or am I imagining it and it's all just coincidence?
