Seriously, why hasn't this road between a major city, Inverness, and the central belt not been upgraded since the 80's?
I have to travel up and down this road all the time, at least 4 times a month, and it just breaks my soul. Anyone who's ever been stuck behind a lorry, caravan or normal car who thinks the 50 mph speed limit applies to them know what I'm talking about. If there's a slow moving convoy you are fucked!
I've started driving at night to avoid the traffic but even then you can't just gun it because of the average speed cameras and unmarked police cars. On that note, Grampian Police, stop moaning about your budget being cut when you have so little to do you feel the need to put unmarked cars to catch people speeding on a road already lined with average speed cameras.
It's even more infuriating when you look at some of the mind blowing civil engineering projects happening around the world, yet we can't build a 100 mile long motorway.
Sorry this is a bit "ranty".
