Decline of Religion in Scotland

Post Body

Greetings from Turkey. I watched a YouTube video where it says that religion in Scotland is declining rapidly and churches are closing/being sold off. How true is this to the reality?

If this is true, what is your take on why this is happening?

Arguably can be achieved with a decent community groups and centres.

Ah yes, the catholic church. Notorious for it's historical tolerance of science.

I'd also be very careful about throwing stones about morality in glass houses. It's not like the catholic church are exactly innocent or holding the high ground in that regard.

I'm curious are the concepts for equality and respect from Timothy 2:12 or maybe Peter 3:1? I mean there's so many other examples to choose from that promote equality and those are just the ones between men and women.

That doesn't seem very forgiving or Christian of you.

I'm already part of some local community groups. My local community are pretty active with quite a lot of different classes and groups. The majority of people involved tend to be the older generations.

I understand it just fine thanks.
