Partners parents from Paisley and will only refer to bacon as ham.

Ham to them is “cold meat”. Is this a thing or did they invent it themselves to torture us?

Grew up in Govan in 70’s & 80’sGlasgow and always called it ham & eggs instead of bacon& eggs! Was pretty common then! Think most people would call it bacon nowadays though including myself
