The more scotch I try, the more I've realized my favorite bottles are the ones with a little bit of everything going on. A little bit of sherry cask, a little bit of bourbon cask, a little bit of oily/brinyness, a little bit of peat, etc.
So far, a couple of my favorites that I think more or less fit that description are Hakushu 12 and Highland Park 12. I've searched the internet far and wide and only found a couple others that seem to be similar, Benromach 12 and Connemara. I'm definitely going to try both of those, but I was just wondering if anyone else here had some reccs other than the afformentioned whiskies. Thanks in advance!
