Going nuts with a Scooby Doo Mandela effect
Post Body

Ok, I'm going a bit nuts here, because I cannot for the life of me find a picture of Scooby-Doo pretending to be a lamp.

I remember the bit very specifically, but I cannot for the life of me remember what episode it comes from.

  • Monster is chasing Scooby.
  • Monster comes upon Scooby obviously pretending to be a lamp, complete with a shade on his head.
  • Monster inspects lamp, and pulls lamp chain to turn it on.
  • Lamp mysteriously lights up, making it appear as if Scooby really is a fully functioning lamp. Monster looks directly at camera, shrugs, and moves on.
  • Lamp could also light up revealing Scooby within, and the chase resumes. I honestly can't remember.

I swear on something that this was a Scooby-Doo trope, in fact the Scooby-Doo PS2 video game utilized a lamp shade as a reference to sneak past particular bad guys.

But for the life of me I cannot find any photo evidence of this ever occurring in a Scooby episode.

This did happen, right?
