I'm curious about how long it takes to gain body fat. I have an idea in my mind, but I'd like to know from those who know much more than me.
Let's say you're physically completely average and healthy. One week, you decide to eat a 5,000 calorie surplus each day. How long until you see a ~10lbs increase on the scale?
Bonus questions:
What if you ate all 35,000 extra calories in 1 day? 3 days?
If you weren't average and healthy, which issues (if any) can significantly change the amount of time it takes to metabolize and store the excess calories?
