[California] [Biology] - Should I be preparing PowerPoints while I'm a college student?

Post Body

Hi, I am wondering if I should spend my breaks as a college student making my first years of teaching at a California charter school easier.

Should I be preparing PowerPoints? Or reading biology textbooks?

My plan is to graduate with a liberal arts degree and do an alternative teaching program, so I won't have the in-depth knowledge and student teaching experiences other biology teachers will have (I am studying in Arizona).

Also, I would LOVE to have other biology teachers as mentors to me!

Thank you.
