Has anyone else had as much trouble as I have with doctors, nurses, and all the dregs of the medical world not believing you or taking you seriously? Several times now I’ve told them I was in excruciating pain and I got a response along the lines of “well of course you are in pain, you had surgery” or “there will be some discomfort you just have to get up and move around.”
And they would say this after I said I was in so much pain I couldn’t stand. And EVERY time I ended up going to the ER, there was a very serious reason for my pain. Like a re-herniation or an infection that almost killed me twice.
This is to say nothing of my surgeon’s HORRIBLE bedside manner, the incompetence of the ER staff and the downright rudeness of some of the scan operators.
I’m so tired of being at the mercy of a medical system gang has no time for me and thinks I’m full of it.
