This is just a rant post.
Herniated my L5-S1 in August. Made progress until I twinged it in October and felt like I was back to square one.
Since then, and especially since Xmas, I felt I’d made loads of progress. I almost felt normal again.
Then I woke up this morning with pain in my back, glutes, even down to my calf again. I don’t know what I did to re-twinge it but I know I’m looking at months AGAIN just to get back to where I was.
I can, at least, still walk enough to get around at work. Sitting isn’t too painful. So I need to rest as much as I can for a week or so and then see where I am, I guess.
It’s so frustrating how the healing from this isn’t linear. Two steps forward and one leap back 🥲
