Recently migrated my Roth IRA over to Schwab from Edward Jones and was able to max out my 2023 Roth contributions. I have some extra cash laying around ($10K) and have been looking into buying some ETFs or index funds. Since I wasn't able to do that at Jones, I'm navigating uncharted waters. I've done some research and have picked the best funds I think could work. I think there are too many to buy into each one, so any advice on what ones to pick would be great. I'm looking for some large cap, mid cap, small cap, dividend, and some international funds to try and be as diversified as possible. I guess what I'm afraid of is too much overlap with all the funds. I would guess I should be in no more than 4 funds, but that's just a guess. I have another 20-25 years unril retiemennt, if that plays into the calculation.
ETFs I've selected:
SCHD, SCHG, SCHF, SCHE, SCHH, SCHA, SCHP and SCHM
Index funds selected: SWTSX, SWISX, SWPPX, SWAGX, SNXFX
Sorry for the long post and thanks in advance for any tips/advice!
