Hi everyone! This is my first post (on this subreddit and any subreddit!), and I need a little scouting advice...

I've been saving up for the Christmas carols set, specifically for the UR Hanayo, since it came out in JP half a year ago. I was determined to keep saving until it came out in EN before ENSIF threw some curve balls at us, like with the double scouting and speeding up the EN schedule. I thought about scouting during the Taisho Roman release instead or during the Snowy Mountain/SLG/Valentine's/White Day pick-up box, since I like all or most of the cards in those sets, but ultimately decided to just keep trying for my dream UR until I get it. (Or until I get three URs I'm willing to sacrifice for it.) Lately I've been wanting to just scout as soon as possible, partially because I'm rank 180 with no URs, and watching my friends and strangers scout URs left and right has been making me salty. :P Having said that, the delay of the Christmas carols set, while not totally unexpected, was disappointing.

I want to save 150-200 gems in case of surprise solo boxes and for tiering. I have 571 gems as of writing this. My question is: what would you do? Would you put up with being UR-less and save up for the dream UR? Do a partial scout for a box/set you like ASAP?

Thank you in advance to everyone who replies! I've been mulling over this for a while, so any input I can get would be greatly appreciated.
