Project Epica: Introduction
Post Body

Good day, members of the Farms!

As you know, we have always wanted to build a large project atop the large hill. After weeks of ideas floating around, Vain and I have finally decided on a final plan for the building and construction. The building we will be basing ours on is the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw, Poland. It is rather simple, impressive, and looks quite good. It will become the center of attention on the server, for better or for worse. We must bring interest to this server and our Farms! We are still a community, and I hope this will bring us closer together :D

This is a model that I built in creative mode that we'll be basing the final design on. I will be the main construction manager, so I will measure things out first, but then anybody can add blocks whenever they have free time. Hopefully this system will work. I will try to keep you as well-informed as possible on the building process. Vain will also strongly be monitoring the process and will mostly be managing materials and the overall look of the building. Any questions can be brought to either of us. If you would like to help with management, ask!

The construction will follow in several steps that I will post later. This is just an introductory post to present our finalized idea... unless there are major objections to our choice. Then again, I did ask several times here if anybody has ideas, and didn't receive replies :\

For those who wish to immediately help (I know that's all of you :D ), you can follow this image. They are just a few basic pre-construction things we need to have done. The building will likely be started tomorrow, and will take an estimated 2 weeks to finish. It is a 1:1 build of the actual thing. An estimated 20,000 stone blocks and 140,000 sand blocks. Don't worry about the sand; I asked the admins if I could build a sand harvesting machine, and they said it was legal. Sandstones will be on no short supply.

I hope this project will bring us a bit together again, as it seems we're drifting in random directions. This is a project that will be awesome!
