Just finished S4E06 and as someone who also went through a streak of failed, quick-to-fade relationships, David and Patrick's end scene dialogue got me emotional

I loved the part where David associated himself with a pile of damaged goods because of his past relationships and how he's so used to not trusting people 'til before that scene. I just know that it hurts so bad--- when everything finally seems right but only for it to crumble when you're at the peak. I want to hug David at that point.
