Today a friend on instagram reached out to me saying she got 13,000 from DHHS by messaging “some lady” on facebook. She has posted 2 pictures of the money on IG and one picture on facebook. she then followed up by posting a picture of the check. with her name and the 13,000 amount. I decided to message the person and got an interesting body of text. I will add it. My question, with this info can someone steal your identity, because they aren’t looking for money. zero fee. so what is the purpose of this scam ????
