I'm selling a camera on Facebook for more than would allow me to use the Facebook payment system. I have it for sale for local pickup only, but I keep getting people asking if they can pay me $100-300 over asking if I'll ship it to them quick. They're willing to send the money over Venmo before I ship the package, but this all seems very sketchy to me. I'm under the impression that Venmo doesn't reverse transactions so if they send the money to me I should be good, right? But it just seems too good to be true and it's weird that it's a whole bunch of people asking for roughly the same thing. Is there a scam here?
