Don't ever hit the "Go Global" feature on Tinder..

It's basically like holding a sign up in public that says "Please try and scam me"

I fell for a girl from Ukraine... She was real, we spoke and video chatted . ..... So I thought she was legit wanting to come to US. But it's just a play to get you to send MoneyGram.. starts off small, groceries, a phone.

slowly the warning signs started showing

✓ Widower (62% of UKR scam say they are widower ✓ Hubby left no money, works 60 hours a week, just to barely eek out a meager existance ✓ aunt had to take loan out so she could get house and furniture for her.. no has to repay loan ✓birthdays for her and her kids conveniently Sept, Oct, November.. she needs $$ to buy present ✓ claims to have crappy phone, needs upgrade ✓wants to come to US, but doesn't have $ for passport ✓offers to have a child with you

It seems so obvious now...

I wasn't seeking an international bride. I just clicked a feature on Tinder to get more likes .

So I wasn't looking for red flags...

Day after day on Hangouts.. neglecting work because I am always messaging her. For three weeks.

I was in for $900 ..

Then she contradicted herself. Earlier she talked about selling the kids bikes and some furniture to make ends meet since she was coming to US.

Then she asked for money to buy the kid a bike for his birthday..

At that point I realized I had been had.

I showed her screenshot of her talking about selling the kids bicycles... Immediately she plays the victim.. why don't I trust her , etc. Etc...

I waited 24 hours.

Then I sent her a message asking if she had anything to say for her self?

She said since I don't trust her, she assumed we were through.

I just deleted her her contact info.

That's been ten days ago. 9/1/2020

I am man enough to admit when I am wrong, or made a mistake or got duped.
