Tl;Dr: recent scam involving old trick of getting people to go to porn website by using catfishing and bots with pictures of a model. Rest of the post goes into the history of what happened and a transcript of it without dealing with potentially having the owner of the account delete the snaps. If requested though I will take screenshots. Model they're using is Katie Banks.

There's a recent scam going around I'm pretty sure, I'm good at catching them, but this one is reminding me of the classic Skype ones (sent friend request from a woman, woman tries to prove to you she's real, tells you to go on a cam site and call her, so on so forth). Well, these are now back in full force.

I got added by an account who went by the name of lets go by 'Scamgirl' (obviously she went by a more obvious name but since its snapchat and anyone can look them up, I'd rather not accidentally target someone else) - I assume made fresh this month (August birthstone, 0 score on snapchat which means no story pictures have been taken). Now, I didn't read my phone. So I have all of the responses. The aim is the same as the old spotify scams. It will go as follows (Transcribing, will provide screenshots if requested)

"Hello"
"How are you"
"Are you single?"

Break in the conversation

"I am so horrny love me?"

"Snap no seftty (No idea what that means) just call me my personal profile its absolutely free just your email vertify then find me ..." going to an ad for a 'best dating for adults' website.

"Baby I'm so horny I'm alone at home you make that video call on my profile soon I'll have sex with you pls baby pls" - sending another link to account.

Break in conversation again.

"Baby you don't need any money to come to my profile you just confirm your email then you will get me please baby"

"I can' t find you pls vertify your email than find me. Pls" same link to website. It repeated these last two steps again before saying meet you on there.

Chances are, this is the same scams as used by the skype ones back in the day. The model that they used is porn producer Katie Banks (they left the watermark in the corner).

Hopefully, you don't fall into this (It s rather up front about it, it does it pretty quickly and they seem to follow that script) - but if you do, well - here it is.
