So yesterday, I got a letter in the mail from my very first fast food job. I haven’t worked there in over 4 years. Letter states that they had a data breach and my information was part of it. Fast forward this morning, I get a message from Chase fraud that declined a big purchase. Called the number on the back of my card and they informed me of multiple other failed attempts at purchases. Already deactivated the card and a new one is coming in.
They didn’t. I just think it was a really big coincidence. So it definitely got me a bit spooked when I saw this text come in
Thanks for the advice guys. Just got off work and saw all these notifications to freeze my credit.

Just worried about my other info that has been part of the breach. According to the letter, they state that my full name, DOB and SSN has been compromised as well.
