This is getting to be a regular thing! I do a lot of ordering online for my review channel and the last few months I have been scammed so much and always using the same way. I use my card with buyer protection. But I have a limited time to file a claim for not receiving an item. And the rules are crazy. But I know them now so I follow them well until recently. So I order the product and am sure to take a screenshot of when the order is stated that it will arrive and if I haven't gotten a tracking number by then I get my money back and they go after the seller.
Lately the scam is that they sellers are creating a shipping label within a few days of the order and then never dropping it off at the carrier. Both UPS and USPS will allow this and are not concerned with when or even whether or not the item is brought to them for shipping. The seller then waits for the expected date they gave me when purchased is over and cancels the shipment and I have no way of turning them in. I have 3 packages stuck in this phase rn. The company who created the label won't help or take responsibility for the item until it is handed over and they have no restrictions on this. Most likely cuz you have to pay for shipping to get the label and it's about profit to these big shipping peeps. I am going to have to stop my review spot because typically I am referred to a company because they are sus and I am willing to go thru the process and wait for my money back when they are bs. But not if this is the new normal. This should be against the rules or someone should care that it's enabling scammers to scam better. Any suggestions or ideas?
