Am I getting scammed?
Post Body

I got a call today about a "Delievery" got a reference number and called what I learned was "Abbot, Brown Associates" in Portland, OR. In reference a a PayDay loan from 2014 that "defaulted in 2018" , stating I owe like $2200. I really don't divulge any more information and play coi and kinda lead it to the point where they send me something. I asked for a proof of debt and got told "We are a mediation company, we don't have to provide that" which I think was a BS line. After 30 minutes they say they can do 3 payments of $466 and send me a document to sign that includes field for debit card information I am skeptical so I haven't filled any of this out. The document is through Dropbox Signatures and really don't plan on filling this out. Because if this defaulted in 2018 that means in a year it really goes away from what I have been reading. I just want to know the fair shake, is it legit.

In the email with the "Documents" it says it came from the following,

📷Document Processing ([[email protected]](mailto:[email protected])) has requested a signature

This to me is the biggest red flag ever as why would it come from signourdocuments.com if they are a legitimate group, the second red flag are dead links on there website and no actual address other than what is listed in the documents they sent, which when looking at street view also doesn't have any business signage.

Edit: Just for reference I checked all possible email options that I ahve ever used to look for any information about this like the "Account" number they are saying it is for etc and I do not see anything at all.

Edit 2: I just got a call again from them, because I am not really keen on signing these documents they sent me and giving them any information, my scamdar is going off and I just don't think that this is legit, but it was a "Director of Finance" that called me as they see I opened the documents but have done nothing.
