So I receive these texts to my number every few days all from different unknown numbers claiming to be Snapchat telling me I have unopened snaps containing a link. I already think it’s scamish so I never click on them and I never have. I block and report junk. But earlier today I got a one different from the rest that made me question it all day. You see I’m good with knowing how to prevent cyber attacks and knowing how to deal with one if it’s happening. Usually they say “Your friend has sent you a snap” something like that. But this one said “(Friends name) has sent you a snap.” The reason I’m confused and worried a lil is bc this is new to me, how do you know who I talk to and send snaps to everyday to send me a accurate scam text. I was even more worried when I did Google researching and saw ppl were having the same problem but nothing about being specific about your friends name sending you a snap. And the thing is it was true he did send me a snap like wtf how do they know. Pls tell me I’m not the only one or you know how they know.
