my drosera capensis needs some help

should i be cutting off these dying browning leaves? a few were absolutely covered in bugs before dying off, whereas a couple had like nothing on them: lots of new top growth though, i willl say that some of the new growth has been coming in very weird, twisting and pointing in strange directions etc. Thank u!!!! He is under a grow light for around 17 hours a day.
