Should I use coin base to start trading crypto or some other platform?

After dogecoin I’ve been itching to get into this craze myself. Don’t worry I won’t be mad if I lose all the money I invest I understand this is crypto... with that being said I’m glad yup for dropping a couple hundred and see where it goes. Is coin base my best option to start or should I try a brokerage account ? I don’t want to use a brokerage account which will make pay a bunch of fees for since I’ll only be trading crypto on it. Any advice helps and if coinbase is the best option if someone could give me some cons for me to watch out for.
