Coming from Factorio and have a question on planning out larger train networks (2 lane vs 4 lane)

Post Body

So I'm looking at getting trains up and running soon and was gonna start building out a main network for them. Over in Factorio I usually did 4 lane networks, two rails for each direction. Is that as useful over here in Satisfactory our will 2 lanes just about cover every situation? And if 4 lanes is the way to go here what's the best way to insure that trains evenly split between the two lanes going each direction?
