I've always called myself a broken angel rather than a fallen angel because to me fallen denotes you were pushed, where broken represents the willful choice to jump before being pushed. I obviously mean this as a metaphor not literal. I consider myself a broken angel because of the intense traumas I have survived. Christianity broke me but I have a saying:

"All of the pain, despair, sadness and humiliation we experience in our life weighs on us causing pressure. If enough pressure builds up we either shatter or we harden. I am sharp, I am hardened, and I absolutely am fucking diamond now! "
