Hello all, and Hail Satan.

I have recently had the pleasure of reading Shiva Honey's book, The Devil's Tome. I was highly inspired by some of the verbiage used in the rituals of the Black Mass described in the book. I went and paraphrased some of the language used therein and condensed it into a form I could use in prayer.

Now, I am an atheistic Satanist; I do not believe in any form of pseudoscience, ghosts, magic, deities, or even astrology. If a concept has no evidence, I'm more skeptical than Doubting Thomas!

However, research gives us evidence that ritualistic practices are helpful to the average person, and I am willing to bet that for this reason, they are ubiquitous across cultures. I find personal fulfillment and meaning in using rituals in daily life (especially on Sundays!). I hope you can find some use in this document as a way to pray to Satan. Within my personal practices, He is a construct representing my personal power and the 7 Tenets. I have been enjoying finding small ways to honor Satan every day by using these words. Please enjoy!

1. Repentance Prayer

Before the mighty and ineffable Prince of Darkness, and in the presence of my eternal God, I renounce all past allegiances. I proclaim that Lucifer rules the earth, and I ratify and renew my promise to recognize and honor Him in all things without reservation, desiring in return His assistance in the successful completion of my endeavors and the fulfillment of my desires. For it is through Lucifer that I declare independence and claim my own power. I call upon Lucifer to receive this pledge in His name.

3. Affirmations

Domine Satanas, tu conversus vivificabis nos.

Lord Satan, Thou shalt enliven us.

Et plebs tua laetabitur in te.

The masses shall rejoice in Thee.

Ostende nobis, Domine Satanas, potentiam tuam.

Lord Satan, show us Thy power!

Et beneficium tuum da nobis.

And grant us of Thy bounty.

Domine Satanas, exaudi orationem meam.

Lord Satan, hear me!

Et clamor meus ad te veniat.

And let my cry come unto Thee!

The Infernal Lord be with us.

4. Glorifying Satan

Gloria Deo, Domino inferi, et in terra vita hominibus fortibus. Laudamus te, benedicimus te, adoramus te, glorificamus te, gratias agimus tibi propter magnam potentiam tuam Domine Satanas, Rex Inferus, Imperator omnipotens.

Ave Satanas!

5. Sacrificial Prayer

O mighty and terrible Lucifer, we welcome you to receive and accept this sacrifice, which we offer to You on behalf of this assembled company, upon whom You have set Your mark, that You may make us prosper in fullness and length of life, under Thy protection, and may cause to go forth at our bidding Thy dreadful minions, for the fulfillment of our desires.

Hold chalice above

Calicem voluptatis carnis accipiam, et nomen Domini Inferi invocabo.

6. A prayer for crying

The waters of my shame become a shower of blessing in the tabernacle of Satan, for that which hath been withheld pourest forth, and with it, my piety. The great Baphomet, who is in the midst of the throne, shall sustain me, for I am a living fountain of water.

And the Dark Lord shall wipe all tears from my eyes, for He said unto me It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end- I will give freely unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life.

Hoc est corpus Regis Servorum.

7. Praising Satan

To us, Thy faithful children, O Infernal Lord, who glory in our iniquity and trust in Your boundless power and might, grant that we may be numbered among Thy chosen. It is ever through You that all gifts come to us: knowledge, power and wealth are Yours to bestow. Renouncing the spiritual paradise of the weak and lowly, we place our trust in Thee, the God of the Flesh, looking to the satisfaction of all our desires, and petitioning all fulfillment in the land of the living.

8. The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, Who art in Hell, Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in Hell; Give us this day our daily light; Send forth Thy spirit & renew the face of the earth; Deliver us unto luxury; Deliver us unto the plenteousness of Thy house; Let us walk as in the day; Eat fat meats & drink sweet wines; Let us fuck; And, that our hearts may be prepared for it, Inflame them with the fire of Thy life, Lord Satan.

And let reason rule the earth.

9. Prayer for Spiritual Gifts

Deliver us, O Mighty Satan, from all past error and delusion, that, having set our foot upon the Path of Light and vowed ourselves to Thy service, we may not weaken in our resolve, but with Thy assistance, grow in wisdom and strength.

I am the root & stock of Lucifer, the bright and morning star.

Come over to me all ye that desire me and be filled with my fruits. Darkness shall cover me, and night shall be my light and pleasure.

10. Celebratory Pledge

O Lucifer, I pledge to honor myself over all others; To render my body inviolable; To create new worlds out of the dust of old; be fearless in confronting injustice and breaking bonds with people, ideas, and institutions that do not serve me.

Let us delight in carnal pursuits and liberate ourselves from arbitrary authority. Tonight is our night; tomorrow is our day. Let us greet each with a sense of adventure and purpose. Let us honor our true nature and inherent beauty.
