Let me start by saying that I’ve tried reaching out to my Padrino but as of yet have been unsuccessful in getting a hold of him. That’s a long story in and of itself.

So quick recap of my situation:

I had to move a while back and I’ve been living with family where space is limited so I haven’t been able to keep my Santos and my Palo stuff in the house. Through some craftiness on my part I was able to make some room in the garage and a closet to be able to put my stuff in. My ngangas in the garage and my Santos in the closet. I know it’s not ideal but it’s the best I can do for right now.

Anyways, as I was bringing my Ellegua into the house everything was going smooth. Until I got to the closet. The moment, literally the exact moment that I walked into the closet, a shelf that was in there broke and fell on top of my Ellegua and I. The shelf knocked my Ellegua out of my hands and it hit the floor. Thankfully it didn’t break but I know that him falling and hitting the floor isn’t good at all and I’m wondering if there’s anything special I need to do to make amends so to speak. I’ve got a lot of stuff going on in my life right now and I can’t afford to be on Ellegua’s bad side at all. I also had my pilón de Chango in the closet and the shelf hit the pilón as well. No major damage that I could see other than a small indent on the wood at the top of it. Not sure if there is anything that needs to be done for the pilón as well. I am a santero (hijo de Chango) but I don’t have cuchillo and don’t know anyone around me that does in case that’s something I need to remedy this situation.

Any advice/guidance/recommendations would be greatly appreciated because I’m freaking out right now. Thanks in advance!
