A lot of parents on SLH are sacrificing to make sure their kid(s) have a merry Christmas. So, this contest is for a parent to purchase up to $50 (including tax) of hobby items for their own enjoyment from Amazon. It can be anything from knitting yarn, to kitchen doodads, to garden tools, to puzzles, to fishing lures, to camping gear. This contest is open to US residents only who are registered with this sub.

Here's how to enter:

1. Read the contest description above
2. Make an Amazon wishlist with up to $50 worth of hobby items (including tax). Include a link to your wishlist in your comment
3. Tell us about a treasured childhood item that you still have as an adult; OR the best Christmas gift that you received as a child; OR show us a picture of your pet, and tell us something interesting about your furry/feathery/slithery companion

The contest will close today at 8:00 PM (Pacific Time).
