I know this has been said by many people in many different ways but with everything going on in my life right now I feel the need to make this post too.

I’m sure you guys know but you may not all realize just how much it means to us parents to get these gifts in the mail and know that no matter what the housing situation or financial situation or living situation is, we are able to provide for our kids for Christmas. My wife received a package from this subreddit the other day with a book she had been eyeing for our son for months on Amazon and she just held it and cried. Thank you all for everything you do, and some of you for giving when you have barely anything yourself. Whatever your reason for giving is, just know that not only are you making a difference for our children but you’re making a difference for us. It warms our hearts to know that there are still good people and that people who don’t know us, love and care about our child. I hope everyone on this subreddit has an amazing Thanksgiving and an amazing Christmas, and I hope you all get everything back you put into the world. - One thankful family ♥️
