I really love the direction they took the show but having read all the comics before watching it I am a little dissapointed by some aspects. Im probably going to be nit picking a lot of this but whatever. Firstly I didn't really like the portrayal of Morpheous. It took me a few episodes to get used to this version of him. In the comics he has this characteristic seriousness about him and I feel like in the show hes smiling, joking, crying, doing stuff that he rarely ever or never does. I just think it takes away from the significance of those actions when he actually does do them in the comics. On the upside, I really like the casting. The Corinthian, Desire, John Dee, are perfect with the exception of some castings like Despair who don't even resemble the comic counterparts. Secondly I feel like the comics are rich with sentimental and existential dialouges and monolouges that I feel like they shortened or cut out of the show which I hate.
What are some things you dislike about the show compared to the comics?
