So this should go for saying but there's clearly an issue with bots, scams, and hookers on these subreddits, and on other apps.

Bit of advice: 1. check post history before dming. If they have alot of post in a sudden time frame or in various subreddits for unrelated areas=Bot/scam 2. If they have alot of links or a very copy paste bio then they're more then likely a bot or a seller. 3. (Tinder and dating apps mostly) If they're snap is spelt looking like this: Sпap then they're a bot/scam, the N in Snap has been replaced with the similar looking Cyrillic 'п' or Cyrillics version of 'P'. 4. If they're asking for a deposit or a fee in order to meet up they're either a scam or a hooker. 5. No karma or post history, or a weird post history. Kinda of piggybacking off 1, but yeah if their post history is lot of meme/photos of animals or shit to their page then it's a scam
