Grassroots for Sanders has made Facebook events for many of the primaries coming up. I think it would be most effective to invite friends, and friends of friends to these events. People are much more likely (in my experience) to sign on to an event that a lot of people are going to, particularly if they're invited to it by someone they know, or a friend of a friend.
I just think this would be a more effective plan of attack than having loads of us out there making our own private events. Something to think about for March 15 maybe? We should really be focusing on a coordinated effort of inviting people to these larger, centralized events. It would give us a much better idea of what kind of turnout we can expect, and, I think, have a much higher rate of return than the current system.
BERNIE CAMPAIGN EVENTS
GRASSROOTS FOR SANDERS
No event for Ohio yet, but I can get in touch with the GRFS and see when they expect to have it up and running. If anyone has any feedback on this, hit me with opinions.
And for today, if you're in MI or MS, GET OUT AND VOTE. Bring your friends. Bring the cashier at your local grocery store. Get everyone out to the polls that you possibly can.
Out of staters like myself, Facebank, phonebank, donate. This could be the day that makes or breaks us, and it's up to us to determine the future of this campaign and this country.
