I know that when interviewed by Katie Couric, Sanders said "If a million young people march on Washington, [and] they say…you better vote to deal with student debt. You better vote to make public universities and colleges tuition free, that’s when it will happen.” but I believe that he said something similar but more along the lines of "If you are a student and want free tuition, then get a million of your friends and march on Washington and demand it."
I know they are very similar, but the second is more active. I'm trying to use it for a prompt about an idea that has had a profound influence on my thought. Can anyone find this quote, maybe from a rally or something?
